3-10 watts per small Wind belt in ten mph

If they cost $10 a piece like the video states, it would cost about $2000 to have 200 of them. This would output 2000 watts per hour. In a day that would reach 48,000 Watt hours or 48 MWH which is close to our goal of 50MWH per day. However, where would you get consistent 10 mph wind?

I think this sounds like the most viable option dependent on how it scales upwards. Do longer belts require less wind since they will experience more cross sectional area of wind?

Searching for a Power Solution

First a brief history of civilization:

Early on we were hunter/gatherers who worked 90% of our time.

Next we entered the agricultural stage which is basically broken into two segments. The first was that some people still worked 90% of the time serving others. Then as technology advanced, lower class people were able to work less.

We currently are in an industrial period where most of us work 40 hours a week.

The next phase will be one of automation. In order to get to the automation phase a few things have to happen. The next thing on the list is the creation of automated production of renewable energy.
